Born in Uganda, East Africa, and trained in Chicago at Midwestern University’s College of Osteo Medicine, Dr. Sachedina is a passionate crusader for breast cancer awareness.
As a mother of two, Dr. Sachedina’s roles as doctor and mom have merged leading her to pen and publish a new children’s book, Metu and Lee Learn About Breast Cancer. Dr. Sachedina’s book will be the first in a series helping children understand different medical and life issues. In addition, she has established the Metu and Lee Fund, with a portion of proceeds from the book’s sales going to benefit families of children with cancer.
